| played golf this morning, woke up at 520, left at 530 and we tee'd off at 605. we played the back 9, here's how my scorecard would look like: bogey, bogey, bogey, bogey, par, par, double-bogey, par, and par. i was hitting short from greens in regulations, my swing is alot weaker now. i haven't played since march or april i think. i was about 160yds away and i pulled out my 7 iron and i was way short, about 20 yds!!! so i ended up hitting the greens on 3 strokes and 2 putting. at least i'm still 2 putting so i'm ok with that. i did manage to hit some greens-in-regulations. my shot of the day was a 222yd par 3, pulled out my 7 wood and hit the middle of the green with a 15ft putt. of course i parred it, greens were tricky because it was wet. i need to build my strength again so i can hit longer, but i kind of like hitting weak because i notice i had more control on all my shots, but it's cool to hit long. so all in all not too bad, i know that if i played 18 holes i would start doing really bad at hole 12, i no longer have that energy to play 18 holes even if we use a golf cart!! i need to start getting back in shape so i can hit longer and dominate all the 60 yr olds playing golf. about my double-bogey i can explain. my tee shot was long, but i pushed it to the right (i don't slice anymore) and i was kind of behind a tree so i tried to sting it under, but i hit it too high and hit a branch. so it took me 2 strokes to get out of there and i was chipping for par and it left me with a 10ft putt up hill. i've been putting short so i ended up 2 putting again. but a cool thing happened next hole, it was a 201yd par 3 and i pulled it left about 15yds to the left of the green, i hit a flop shot and stuck it about 10ft from the hole, but it was a straight putt. i used the line on my ball to line up my putt and i got my first one putt of the day, so boo ya ka.. another funny thing is that when you play a round of golf or even just 9 holes, you need to eat something. so i thought we were going to go to carl's jr and get a breakfast burrito, but we ended up going straight to the course. i ended up playing with an empty stomach, i was feeling weaker and weaker. but after that we ended up eating breakfast which didn't make any sense. how is that funny you ask? it's not..good deed. |
